Basic Care Instructions

To Keep your new faux fur looking great for years to come, it must be cared for properly.

First and foremost, faux fur is made from synthetic fibers and therefore does not like heat of any kind. Be sure to keep it away from all heat sources such as lit cigarettes, burning candles, open flame, space heaters, dryers of any kind as heat, even low heat, will melt the fur fibers.

HEAT + FUR = SHRIVELED CRISPY MESS

Some prefer to machine wash their fur in COLD water then hang to dry and brush the fur lightly.

If you only need to clean a small spot, you can use a mild cleaner and a clean cloth but after a trip to BRC, you'll probably want it fully cleaned.

Dry cleaning is another method you can use to clean your fur. It is best to try find a dry cleaner that has a lot of experience in cleaning faux furs - make sure they do NOT use heat of any kind.

Which ever method you choose to use, always do a test run with one of the fur & liner swatches that are included with your coat.
